Privacy notice
What we collect when you ask for quotes, why, who sees it and how to get it deleted.
Who we are
Notts Solar Quotes is the data controller for information you give us. Contact: use our contact form and choose "My personal data".
What we collect
When you ask for quotes: your name, phone number, email, postcode, and the answers you give about your home and what you're interested in. If you ask for a call back, we collect your name, phone number and best time to call, and use them only to call you. We also collect basic, anonymous website usage data.
Why we collect it
To pass your enquiry to up to three solar installers who cover your area, so they can contact you about a quote. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on our form.
Who we share it with
Up to three independent, MCS-certified installers who cover your area. We name them if you ask. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 12 months so we can deal with any questions or complaints, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing us. Installers who have already received your details become responsible for their own copy; we'll tell them about your request. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics that don't identify you.
